Detail:

Restorative Practice Training open to all Children’s Services Staff,

Restorative Practice is a value-based relational way of being that is needs-led and strengths-focussed. It embodies a set of core beliefs, principles, and behaviours that promotes a way of being with people, actively and explicitly promoting change by working WITH people on a high challenge, high support basis. Restorative practice is important to us in Dudley and lies at the heart of our ambition to be ‘Child Friendly Dudley’, providing us with an overarching framework for practice and forming the basis for our organisational culture.

The training sessions aim to increase understanding and knowledge of restorative approaches, providing us with a range of language, behaviours and tools to strengthen our relationships, empowering children, young people, and their families to share responsibility by using solution-focused approaches to support positive change.

The training is delivered by our very own Restorative Practice Consultants, Katie Gregory and Joseph Joule.
